@biruhato - I'm sorry but this feels like a regression: Logo is still unprofessional, look is sloppy, and I'm just not really feeling this entry. Sorry.

@xhanch - Thanks for entering, since you won my previous contest. However, your entry looks too plain to me with no background.

@Ward Larson - That looks awesome! One small thing I'm noticing is on the one picture, on the color it has UK backwards? Not sure how that happened since SEC is still straight, but that is my only negative feedback for it. Your entry is still front-runner.

@eCover Designer - Overall, not bad at all. Great picture of Wall and great effect on the background. I see potential in you, and it looks professional, just I am not really feeling the star look and the golden style. Kind of looks like it is for a boring history magazine or something, rather than a fun sports magazine, in my opinion.

VashaDesign, you could be on to something with this. Here is some feedback:

*Size should be 675 pxl by 725 pxl
*I'd prefer subtext of 'John Wall for the player of the year?' to be 'Could John Wall be Player of the Year?'
*If possible, I'd prefer John Wall to be in a Kentucky jersey, rather than his high school jersey.
*Page peel should look more like a peel then just a cutoff corner.
*'A Look At the Top of NCAA Center' should be changed. First off, that is hard to read, so font may need to be changed or something, and I would like it changed to 'Highlights, Interviews, and More Inside'.

Fix those, then I can see if there is anything else.

 

@eCover Designer - What I was saying on my last feedback was that I saw potential, but it looked boring. Perhaps a new concept completely?

Thanks for the feedback. It's the first time for me to design something like this

Here's another revisions (I keep it simplicity and eye catching) while I'm looking for cool backgrounds.

 

This is a sketch for the layout... dont know if you okay if Im done this all in vector compare than using a photo. I thought something like Wall being a superhero and planning to take a comic style such as Marvel, DC.

 

@Vasha, that is much better. Just one small revision: It should be 'Highlights, Interviews & More Inside' you forgot the s in interviews.
@xhanch - Thanks for all the attempts, however, it's still just too simple for me, sorry, I really appreciate you trying.

@Otakatun - Sketch looks awesome! Just a couple things to think about when making the final:

*With this design, I don't like the 'Team Rankings' and 'A Look at the Top NCAA Centers'. Those can just be deleted overall. Also, font for 'Highlights, Interviews, and Much More!' is very plain. And can you change that to 'Highlights, Interviews, and Much More Inside!' ?
*For the Click Here to Enter, I'd like more of a page peel effect.
