Write answers to questions about your product/service or a post related to your product/service. Add a link to your site at the end of every answer. Nothing else to it. Yahoo Answers are a good source of backlinks, as they hold a lot of weight in the search engines.

    > Answer the correct questions.
    > Give them good answers.
    > Insert your url for more details.
    > Must look natural and not artificial.

    Hope this helps.

You can do this, but you have to be very careful. I have had 2 accounts banned because of this. You also have to realize that just like a lot of other methods in internet marketing, success on YA doesn't happen over night. It is a legnthy process.

First off, sign up for tons of screen names (the more the better). Do not use your primary Yahoo account b/c you may get banned.

Next, for every account, make an avatar and fill out your profile (also include any links to your website in your profile). This will make yourself look like a regular poster instead of a marketer- or even worse- a spammer.

After you do this, do like Dopant said. Create content-rich questions. After you create a question pertaining to your niche, go and ask and answer other questions with this profile. DO NOT..I repeat..DO NOT post any links in these other questions you answer (even if it pertains to your niche). You don't want to do this because you want to build up your credibility.

After you answer some questions with this user name, log out and DON'T LOG BACK IN.

Wait a day or 2. Then log in with your other screen name.Locate your question and answer it with your keywords. ONLY put your link in the resource box. Do not say "click here". That sounds spammy. Put effort into answering the question. After you have answered your own question, answer other people's questions as well until you get to the limit for the day. Don't post any other links on any other questions.

The next day, log in to your first account, and choose your answer as the best answer. It is important not to log into the other account again for that day. After you have chosen it as the best answer, you can ask another question again. Follow the same steps as above, but this time use another account to answer your question. Keep repeating this, using a differnet account each time you answer your questions.

Like I said, this takes some time. But, it is the best way I know how that you will not raise any red flags with YA.

If you want to do it quicker, team up with a friend or fellow marketer. Have them Ask a question with keywords and you answer it. Have them choose you as the best answer. Of course, make sure you do this with someone you trust.

No. The resource section is there for the purpose to post a link. When I post a link, I don't say "click the link below fore more info". I just put it there as a reference to where I got my info. I don't mention the link at all. I act like its not even there.

I should have added that you should try this at your own risk and I do not make any guarantees to whether this will work. I can only speak from experience what has worked and what hasn't for me.

1.Putting an affiliate link in your answer.

    2. Posting your website link to a question in a topic that doesn't pertain to your website- Like say back when Michael Jackson died that was a HOT topic. Say you went into a question on YA about MJ and posted "To make money online Check out my site"

    3. If every question you answer has your link on it, it may be considered spamming.

    4. If you answer your own questions. I know I wrote about this last night on how to do this. It still doesn't mean you are 100% safe. But I have asked a question and then immediately answered it with another name. I was banned in minutes. IF you wait a little longer, it decreases your chances.

    5. Bad mouthing other people, making false claims, venting, saying anything against religions, race, disabilities, etc.

    6. Posting tiny url's. Some people may not agree with me. However, I have gotten a "warning" for posting one before. In my opinion, tiny url's look like spam.

If you are questioning something don't do it. You can also make it work just by answering people's questions too. You don't have to post your own questions and answer them. ( just do it so I can target specific keywords, and sometimes there isn't an open question.

There are a few ways to effectively use Yahoo Answers as a source of traffic, but the most common is creating multiple accounts and using one to ask a question about your niche. Then use another to answer the question and then pick that answer as the best answer. This system is a bit played out, but if used properly you'll see results. Good luck.

I am sorry to say that I don't know. I would check their TOS. I would assume they do to some extent. When I have logged off of one account and logged into another immediately and answered my own ? they have banned me (from both accounts). They must have known from my IP address. However, when I have waited a few days to answer my own ?'s they haven't banned me. I really don't know why this has worked, but answering my own ?'s immediately hasn't.

However, I have been able to make other accounts, so its not like they blocked my IP from registering again.

It probably isn't ethical to Yahoo, that is why they are so strict. The way I look at it is as long as I am providing good quality, I know I am helping someone.

There have been some keyword research on a niche that I did one time. There was a keyword that tons of people were looking for info on, but there were only a few pages optimized for the keyword..and they weren't helpful to these people at all.

Yes we are doing this to make money, but helping people should be the top priority. If we are helping people then it can't be wrong ...right?
