Well, as some of you should have noticed in other posts of mine, I just started my first niche blog a while ago (23/NOV, to be exact). I selected a keyword with high competition (but will work hard on it). I thought my blog was on G Sandbox or not, because it don't ranks even in top 1000 for the main keyword (and my blog is indexed by Google). So, I was thinking: select a keyword with apostrophe was a bad idea (the keyword is something like Bike's Wheel, for example)? Some of you have had an experience with this?
Are you trying to just discover if you are sandboxed? Either way, Google (should) ignore all punctuations.
I think my blog is sandboxed because it is indexed by Google but not for the main keyword (is this a sandboxed blog, isn't it?). Well, if Google ignorat punctuation, it's best to exclude the apostrophe of my main keyword and use Bikes Wheels, for example?
U just created your blog on 23 Nov (09 i assume) and checking your rankings today :O Are you serious about it, if it is a high competition keywords say in the range of 10,00,00,000 competing websites (that is what is i consider high competition) then you need to atleast wait for 6 months to get some decent rankings
To be exact, it's 37,000,000 of pages in the SERP's, but this isn't what I take to analyse the weight of my competitors: there are some pages in the first results with PR0 (one of Overstock.com) and others with low on page optmization and low number of backlinks. So, you think I can keep it up with the apostrophe on the main keyword and just wait till the end of my impatience? Thanks for the help!
