Hi, I have a domain name that I am looking to sell but do not know how to go about it.
It was for a project that I was setting up but since then I have adapted my idea and I am looking to move onto something different

Any advice on how to go about selling a domain would be greatly appreciated.

    The domain is www.total-ink.com

There is only a sample web site up there at the moment and nothing to actually do with the site or its planned contents.

    Thank you all in advance.

    Chris

Just go to Buy sell trade in this sub forum.
You can sell your domain in that section.

there are 2 ways to transfer domain. push or transfer

    1) u can get buyers account info for push like his account # or any code wrt the registrar and push the domain

    2) u can get the domain auth code and give to buyer to initiate tranfer from other registrar

You can park it and try making some money, there are lots of paid parking systems, even google for domains.
If parking is not an option, sell it first and I suggest this forum or ebay and don't worry about the whois, the buyer will change it.

Hi guys, thank you for all of the advice. I have decided to stick with it for now as I have just had a great idea on how to utilise it a little better. Many thanks again.

I have been a member of this forum for years and today I log in and I am asked to change my password and I updated my email. I am trying to sell a domain and it will not let me post a new thread. Is this because I have just updated my password and email?
