    Hey people,

I am wondering if someone of you can suggest me any software that will ease my job of creating a specific joomla template. Its for my work we have our web page and we want to put it in joomla i started modifying another joomla templates so i can make it for our specific needs but realized that it will be a lot of time consuming, so if someone can help me with this info i would appriciate that a lot. Thanks in advance.

artisteer is excellent, if you don`t have any experience with webdesign or programming
there are a lot of things you can tweak
but it`s not for creating non-standard templates (those which aren`t rectangle-shaped)

I have tried that one before, it can't creat template at will. You have to follow preset mode, that will not creat the template you want!

You can make great templates with it.
You will need to make some default templates yourself and work with these as a basis.
Still some minor bugs but I gave feedback and they solve it, so good support.

You can create you own psd background and use it.

    Good luck

If you have dreamweaver, you can create or convert templates to joomla with this extension. watch the video tutorials and see if its for you.

Do you experience aa lot of bugs then?
If so, then it seems like a very time consuming task to me.
In that case, is it not better to adjust a template that already works to your needs?

The best is to get a quick understanding of css, it's really simple, then get dreamweaver and you're set.
