While searching for something on Google, I came across this site: _http://chimney.software.informer.com/ Seeing, the subdomain on another subdomain, I realized, that these guys were doing something different. A quick search in Google returned this result http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C...&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site:informer.com As you can see about 6 Million pages indexed. Now, obviously, these guys are Getting TONNES of traffic everyday via Google, and cashing it via Adsense. They seem to be using some sort of script or automatic page builder, via scraping content from other sites..? Building thousands of subdomains.. Are you guys familiar with this?
I'm not familiar with this exact website or method, but it looks like they're using a combination of methods: 1. Automatically generating dynamic webpages (sub-sub-domains) 2. Scraping content from RSS feeds etc based on keywords generated above. I can't see someone manually creating six million webpages and filling them with content, so it must be completely automated. They must be making a fortune.
Can you really assume they're getting lots of traffic just because they have 6 million pages indexed? 6 million pages don't count for much if they're on the tenth page of results...
