How to get my site in top SERP's

    I have good alexa rank compare to my competitor,but they are ranking in top.How they are ranking in top,please any one give the suggestion.

    your competitor probably has done other SEO/SEM activities and you have not

    If you are serious to be first compare then your competitor you need to build up back link as much possible using your Keywords, you competitor has done many link building using the same keywords for that thy are top

    Thats not necessarily the case... the other site could just be search engine friendly, well optimised and more targeted it depends on the competition levels.

    There are a number of factors why they are probably outranking you. Their inbound links will be the main reason. Other factors include domain age, trust, domain name etc.

    Study their backlinks and find out where they are getting back links from. Do this also for other sites ranking in the top 10. Make a spreadsheet and start contacting those sites linking to your competitors. In addition to this, submit your site to some quality directories like Yahoo and Business.com.
