for every article you bookmark? I have been doing this but I'm slightly unclear what benefits it would bring.... It's just very time consuming and I feel like my fingers are about to drop of.... also does it matter if the description is a little rough round the edges and doesn't make complete sense (after all I'm not using it for traffic, just backlinks)
You don't need to change the title and description for every submission. If you're making a lot of submissions just try to vary it. Personally if I was making 100 submissions I'd rotate about 4/5 titles (anchors). Descriptions aren't so important. The benefits include the wider variety of keywords your backlinks will target, and also reduce the chance of search engines flagging your site as spam.
Thanks but I read somewhere that if you leave the title as it is (aswell as the description) the backlink from that bookmarking site won't be worth as much? It's really confusing... it's hard work, but I'm prepared to do if it pays off. Why do you think descriptions aren't important? I wasted the whole of yesterday altering every description sepnding 3-4 minutes on each. Did I waste my time?
You got the answer. If you make extensive submission change the anchor texts. If it is around 20 or 30 submissions stick to one. Again there is no measuring criteria for this. You can do as you wish. May be you can experiment on this and share the results?
