So I know all about bum marketing, but I am more interested in writing articles for link development. Right now my niche market, actually my primary keyword, I rank 6th page for it, was 12th page 2 weeks ago, this is out of 519,000 pages returned. I have been currently writing 10 articles a day between 400-750 words long and submitting them to ezinearticles. My questions are as follows: 1) Is this a pretty effective means of backlinking? 2) Would this be enough to catapult me to the front page? 3) Should I submit these articles to more than just eZineArticles? 4) At this rate (10 per day) do you think it would have a huge impact on my site in a short period of time given the parameters I described in my opening post.
1) Yes it's effective but you can't focus on just one method of linkbuilding to be successful 2) On Google? Maybe, depending on the links to your competitors 3) Only if the articles are different, Google frowns on duplicate content. 4) Short term you'll get natural visitors, long term you'll get the backlinks. The majority of my Ezinearticles have a pagerank of 3 after about 4-6 months time collecting Ezinearticle PR 'juice' so this is effective for increasing your PR, however you should always do multiple methods of backlinking. You can't just focus on one site and expect to do well. My advice: track down relevant other sites/blogs and offer to do a free Guest Post, most will be more than happy and then you'll get quality visitors and a backlink from a relevant site within the same niche. Good luck!
I wouldn't focus on just EZA. Focus more on other article submission sites. Also focus writing blurbs on Web 2.0 Properties. Also do some social BookMarking from sites like Digg and SU
The trick is to write something good, stick it on your own site and get folks to reference it. It's a slightly different way of thinking about backlinking. This will however provide relevant, merit based links. hope that helps, Nigel
If you are going to focus on articles for backlinks i would split up your articles and submit to three. Use EZA Goarticles and maybe A1.
i suggest you should try to submit your articles to other article directory sites it can be helpful to increase the backlinks sites and may speed up the rankings of your targeted keywords...
1) Yes, but you need to start spreading your articles to other article directories. Different links from different domains are better than a lot of links from just one. 2) Yes, does this alone can catapult you to the front page. If you write good articles, others may pick them up and post them on their site with the links linking back to your site. 3) Yes, Try squidoo pages, hub pages, ever.com, and whatever else you can think of. Even create tumblrs, blogspots, and wordpress. 4) If you spread your articles to different domains, you will get good permanent rankings. Also remember the "links/time" formula. Don't get too many links in a week and none the next 5 weeks.
this is a good method but you cannot depend on it solely. you will notice after one point, you are not getting mush help in terms of ranking. after certain amount of links, there will be not much more benefit if you keep submitting articles on the same site. diversify your link building campaign and utilize other link building methods for better result
1) This is a good and effective method, but you should be using other methods also for backlinking. 2) I think you are going to need more than ezinearticles to get to the front page. 3) Submit to many article directories like articledashboard, articlescollection, articlealley, etc. in addition to ezine. 4) Even if you submit 10 per day, ezine is going to take its time to approve the articles, so there's nothing to worry about that.
If you are writing quality articles why dont you submit in your own web? quality content will automatically generate traffic to your site and help increase your PR. but it is also necessary to do some link building.
Yes there is no doubt you can benefit on article writing for your link building but don't focus on ezine there's a lot of article directories you can submit on. And also you can try press releases and other link building methods that uses articles.
