Damn that is disgusting Chaos, heres another religious nutter: Settler Rabbi publishes “The complete guide to killing non-Jews I never here of Atheists killing for Atheistism
I had a look on the three links you had, 2 of them talk about the same story, yes I know it would look more convincing when you have more links, I also can quote so many links from the other side of the story, including the story of Wafaa Constantine, an Egyptian Copt who reverted to Islam, and been killed for that, you in a try to portray Islam as intolerant religion, did not mention, and I think on purpose that these tensions between Muslims and Copts there are only 20 years old, while the friendly coexistence between Muslims and Copts there is hundreds of years old, in fact, Muslims first came to Egypt after they been invited by Copts to help them in fighting the Byzantine Church, which considered Christian Copts as slaves, and denied them any rights, I recommend you to read some history, and how did Islam enter Egypt, the both stories talk about rumors, then people acting in anger after believing such rumors, it is unknown where do such rumors come from, but it is obvious what they intend to cause, so I recommend Muslims anywhere to always investigate before believing rumors, and remember Qur'an teachings in dealing with them: I also recommend you Chaos, to follow this verse from Qur'an, I know you are full of hate towards both Islam and Muslims, but try to have some honesty, and accept or refuse what been said according to how good or bad it is, not by it is source, if Islamic then naaah it is bad, even if it is something like the above verse, and if some Nazi rabbi then yaahh it is good even if it says: this is not how rational people work, try to be rational. now for the tensions, between Copts and Muslims, the two stories you quoted are not the only ones, I do not blame Copts, neither Muslims there, but I do blame the government very much, most of the riots, or demonstrations, or the clashes, happen after a rumor like the ones you quoted, and the story always is similar to Wafaa Constantine story the wife of a priest, a Coptic woman, decide by her own free will to revert to Islam, and leave her family, seeking protection and safety from a Muslim family, Copts then claim she been kidnapped, and been forced to convert to Islam, and demand her back, or will demonstrate, and cause riots, and attack Muslims ..etc Muslims refuse to hand her back, claiming that she converted on her free will, and if she been allowed back she will not be safe, so things start to get worse between both, Western media of course will be so eager to report this story, portraying Muslims as intolerant, it will serve their agenda, and of course Zionist media will be the same, this media party will create a pressure on Egyptian government who has an awful record in regard of human rights, they will want to look like a tolerant, in this popular story, despite they are not (and this is not against Copts or some minority, they are intolerant against ALL including Muslims) with the pressure of riots and the risk of turning into clashes and fights between both, they ask for a guarantee from Church, that if they handed Wafaa she will be safe, of course Church will give them that guarantee, so they handed her, later, the Church announce that Wafaa did not revert to Islam, and she never abandoned Christianity, and later... we hear that Wafaa been killed, after she refused to get back to Christianity, and guess what, Western media is not interested in her death story. of course, nobody cared about what really Wafaa wanted, and nobody let her speak without being afraid on her safety and her kids safety, such situations are very very easy to solve, before it reaches this stage, there MUST be a committee, established by government, which includes both Muslim scholars, and Christian priests, and members from police and government, for which when a similar incident happen, they hand the person to it, and they meet him/her, would be good if humanitarian organizations been allowed also to attend, if the person been truly kidnapped, then s/he should be handed back to his people, with a guarantee that s/he will be protected from the other side, if the person truly reverted then s/he should NOT be handed back, with also a guarantee that s/he will be protected from the other side, there will be no more tensions, when government takes its responsibilities, and do not fall under pressure, because this will not create a rich fertilized soil for rumors, and most importantly, it will not give a chance to people full of hate, to make use of such incidents to serve their goals, and to be used as a cover for their crimes.
Joseph Stalin Imposing your beliefs on everyone else is the way of every religion including Atheism. Most of the regularly occurring religiously motivated acts of violence seem to be located in the uneducated/non-capitalist parts of the planet.
100 million in 100 years is a pretty bad track record and just because they dont say in what name they kill doesnt change what their belief system consists of and how important the core of who they were was a part of them that allowed that killing. Good post Imad. dont pay much attention to chaos trivia as we have seen how unbias he is at reporting the incidents that he wants to report. To someone like that the israeli government keeps building settlements because of hamas attacks, and he thinks that world is gonna keep believing this nonsense
Did he say he was killing for Atheism? source? Where do I impose beliefs? source? Or are you "just saying" or you "know" as per usual.
Whether you are a Christian or a Muslim, let us join hands together to attain the peace that we truly deserve.
Atheism isn't necessarily an organised or structured 'religion' - rather just an absence of belief. Compared to Christianity however, which has been used throughout history to justify war (Crusades anyone), I'd say it's quite mild.
Not another one. I just love how atheists fall back on the "absence of belief" defense, so they don't have to call it a belief system or religion. The commonly accepted definition of an Atheist is a person who believes there is no god. They have no evidence or proof of it, but they take it on faith. @toopac. This once, I am not going to post a link because I am tired and want to go to bed. Many of those in the gulags were religious. No, Stalin never stated he was specifically "purging" the religious, but then again, he never specifically stated he was "purging" anyone. Nevertheless, it is estimated the man killed more than 4 times as many as Hitler did. He killed for the state. The state was atheist. Not secular. Atheist. Wiki it.
And? You implying Israel has systematically killed 20 million people? So far as I can tell, the only thing Israel is guilty of is fighting for its survival. If that is a Jewish(religion) thing, perhaps you should sign up.
No I'm just wondering if an "Atheist state" kills for atheism then a "Jewish state" kills for Judaism, right? whether they say it or not, that's your suggestion, I'm using your logic. Israel has no credibility after that Goldstone report, it's not fighting for survival, it's committing war crimes against Arabs that were ethnically cleanse from their land. But anyway stick to the principle not the Israeli-Palestine conflict.
It is not argument, it is a statement of surprise. How can you argue with someone who still mentally lives in 1950s?
