Contest $50 Logo Contest For Jewelry Supply Store - 24 Hours - Paypal

For the sake of time, I'm giving feedback to a few logos that we really like, but need a few minor changes...

@jtoms - This is a nice logo, the client liked it when I showed it to him this morning. He did request a few changes though - as far as the red color inside the little logo, we were hoping for something a little more "red" - like a more true red. The gradient is fine, but switching reds would be great. Also, if we could see the logo with "1SJS" in there instead of "OSJS" that would be great (note to all others, we aren't going to be using "OSJS".)

@MantisArt - The client also like your logo concept. He wasn't completely sold on it though, I'm not sure what he wants different about it, but if you have time, perhaps you could submit a revised entry (maybe do something a little different with the text/font/size, etc.)

@jokomamita - Your logo is nice, but we can't tell what that symbol is. Was it supposed to be anything specific, or just a random symbol? Otherwise, the layout is nice.

@nidi - Thanks for your revised entry - but the client is looking for something a tad more professional.

@sikka - The client likes this one, but could you change up the orange in the in lettering - not a huge fan.

Hi,

The logo is actually a combination of a partial stone with a 'gear' (tool) as to reflect the meaning of supplies of jewelry (stone) making tools.

I might come up with a revision later on with a clearer logo that reflects the concept.

 

i try to focus on the logo so that you can see the red i applied.

 

@cil13- Thank you for the entry, I'm not sure it's fitting with what the client is looking for. I appreciate your effort though!

@metafixer - Thanks for your entry - we like how clean and sharp it is. But again, we're not really sure about the diamond symbol on these entries because the client doesn't sell jewelry at all - only jewelry supplies (like displays and showcases, etc). Otherwise, it's not bad.

@jtoms - Client loves the revision - good job, and thank you for taking the time to do it.

@chewysmom - thank you for your entry as well - but as I've said earlier, the diamond isn't really showing what the client sells. The rest of the logo isn't bad though.

the focus of my design is on the tweezers that's holding the diamond that is the jewelers tool

@sikka - I thought I forgot one! Yes, much better without the orange in the middle of the text....but it still needs something to make that text stand out - perhaps a black outline or something? I don't know.

 

allright will get that "something" added to the logo tomorrow morning. 12:03 am here
