    google say text ads are better.
    and I think image ads gets boring too soon when there are only 2-3-5 diferent for your page (not site)

    Text ads are better, image ads are more attractive, but It depend on your type of traffic.

    Whats great about text adds, is that it presents your visitors with 4-5 choices. Typically giving a higher CTR.

    Banner ads draw more attention, but only gives the user one choice and in most cases will have a lower CTR.

    from my experience text ads tend to generate a lot more clicks, so even if the banner ad pays the same payout, people in my experience are less likely to click on image ads.... because they look more like advertisements!

    Depends. For some keywords image might pay off better and for others text ads is better.

    i think u should have to select text and image ads at same time and google will show that which is more profitable, its my assumption.

    Now I think that banner ads pays more. Because I tried changing the banner ads to text ads and my conversion rate is low now :(
