Hey I have noticed that there are so many n00bs who are rude.I have witnessed about 3 cases today and over a dozen in a week. These n00bs come here,post twice and suddenly think there a veteran here. I belive that some of these are banned members who come back here just to abuse,others are scammers. Mods can you just block them as they signup so we dont recieve there spam and there abuse?
I read here almost daily, but do not post much. If I am one of the ones that you have found to be rude, please feel free to let me know about it. I am sarcastic at times, but I am not trying to be rude.
You can put them on your ignore list so they dont show up, I think. Grafstein - the chuckle brothers lol..
We have that at the OT Forums on G4, some of the kids get banned then set up a joke account and try to be rude as hell until the MODS ban their IP address... A year off the forums does wonders for their attitudes... hahaha
From my little experience I would say that it is the mods who are rude.. I had only posted 4 posts and I had 1 removed.. Fact is their was nothing wrong with it anyway..
There are always bad apples everywhere and same is the case with the noobs.Just take it in your stride gracefully,as the mods cannot block their signup. All of us were noobs at some point of time though,but good noobs
Thinks hes a veteran,this is what im talking about. They come here,get rude and in some cases scam people. They blame it on the mods who work there butts off and they somehow think they have had "little experience" from posting a couple of times.
How do you know there was nothing wrong with it?? what did you post?? Yeah I also noticed some n00bs like that. But sometimes a n00b in DP is not a n00b in Web business. Suppose an active user on SP or any other webmaster forums with 5 years of experience in Web comes to DP, he will be a n00b in DP but with more experience more than half of DP members.
but not all are like that,some dont even own a domain.They run a little freeservers site or cjb,come here thinking they are experts and then when they meet people who know more they get rude.
heh, I know what you mean, but hey, just laugh at their stupidity. Let them rant a load of junk at you.. Atleast you have the knowlage that YOU are the sain one
I'm a n00b but I've been doing IT since the late 80s and have had domains and various insignificant personal websites for years. Yesterday, I posted a seemingly innocent suggestion and got some replies insinuating that I was a cry baby, whiner, lazy, dumb, and don't belong on this forum. These were from people with 1000's of posts on this forum. I thought that was pretty rude. So it's not just the n00bs.
You know what? They the reason why this forum is so clean.. When you first join a forum, you are a noob... it doesn't matter how long you 've been in IT business or how many viagra u need to get it up.
no disputing I'm a n00b on this forum... and proud of it and one day, I'm going to get 1000th post but you know what the difference will be? Nothing. I'll still treat everyone with respect, take the time to read posts so that I don't misunderstand them, restrict personal insults and, and watch out for my own tone.
