Thanks Ricky, But all the things you mentioned are obvious, maybe you could explain it in a bit more detail? 1)I believe the title is ok so far, what do you think i should change? 2) The meta tag, I think it is ok, but should I make it shorter or longer or what? 3) Content cant be optimized more as its just a 1 page website, have tried to use the keywords i wanted as much as possible.. The only option would be to insert meta tags into the pictures below but for some reason wp doesnt allow me to insert them.. 4) What do u mean there?
Hi, thanks for your post. Does cloaking your links have a positive effect in terms of SEO? Are affilate companies ok with cloaking their links? As in will they still be seen as their affiliate link? What Wordpress plugin would be best for this? Thanks!
You are welcome Yes affiliate link cloaking is fine, and something Matt Cutts recommends as an alternative to nofollow. Not to be confused with naughty blackhat cloaking (which is bad!). I use the linkhopper wordpress plugin. Lightweight, easy to use and FREE! The affiliate companies do not mind at all, all the big websites do it, eg look at John Chow etc, their affiliate links always look like this: domain.com/word/product/ rather than cjrfdfs.com/45345345sdfs/ ... which looks bad! and Google can tell you are an affiliate, which is generally not ideal...
