Actually, title tag is the most important tag these days. Google only gives secondary attention to other tags such as keywords and description.
Only use meta title, meta description, link canonical url, etc. Other meta tags are useless for the purpose of seo.
* The page title is highly important. * The meta description tag is somewhat important. * The meta keywords tag is not that important.
Keyword Meta is not recognized by any search engine. Except for the title and the description tag, none of those that you have listed are necessary. The Robots meta, when set to "Index, Follow" is recognizing the spider's default setting. This meta is only added in when you want to prevent the spider from doing something other than its default programming.
Use the title tag - optimize that. Meta Description doesn't matter to G - but you want to use that for your "sales pitch". In other words - this is what ppl will probably see - so give them a good reason why they should click on your site. All the other meta tags are junk unless you don't want a specific bot to crawl your site. Then again, you can use your robots.txt file to do that.
use Title, Description and Keyword as a MUST. and make sure they dont cross 155 character limit as google and most of search bots don't love big lengthy stories in these meta tags. Just be Precise and use only those words in them which have fair density in your site text page. Moreover don't duplicate Title and Description keep them like precise objective view of site and subjective view of your site page respectively.
finaly i decide to builld and optimizate my site with, also for confirming what i read in a seo book <meta name="title" content="Trilha do Salkantay 5d/4n" /> <meta name="description" content="Beleza, mistério e magia não podem ser explicados, você tem que experienciar do seu próprio jeito." /> thx for your help friends
I don't know what SEO book you're reading, but I would toss it in the trash if its suggesting that you include the following: The above element is absolutely worthless from an SEO perspective. The title tag/element that you hear people talking about is NOT a meta element (even though unknowledgeable SEOs often refer to it as a meta element or meta title). The title that everyone is referring to... the one that DOES carry a lot of weight in the search engine ranking algorithms is: It is not a meta tag/element if doesn't start with "<meta ". The <meta name="description"> element does not effect your rankings at Google (some search engines might still use it) but it does affect whether or not people click-thru to your site when it's shown as the snippet in the SERPs so you definitely want to optimize the meta description. So for this reason it's very important. The <meta name="keywords"> is pretty much worthless. Doesn't affect Google rankings or rankings at any of the important search engines except... ***cough***... Yahoo! LOL I always include a meta keyword element JUST for Yahoo! and for completeness. But its value from an SEO perspective is pretty much dead these days.
Concentrate on title and meta description tags. Others tags either you add or not will make no difference.
if you can see as per search engine optimization then you need to use only title, description and keywords as meta because other information is add on things for search engine spider.
From what I know the title tag is the most important but I have also heard about the description to be a useful one. All the rest are secondary and some are even ignored by search engines on the other hand there is no set of rules to follow on this things. Experiment and find out for yourself! Good luck!
focus on the title tag, make sure your keyword is optimized in your title page, the rest like meta tag also put some keywords into it, make sure the keyword density not overload or else it consider spam
