Check backlinks of a site....???

Which tool is the best to check back links of a website...?

I am using backlinkwatch. I think this is the good tool among all...

 

use yahoo site explorer.

Or go to yahoo.com and search site:www.yoursite.com

 

Backlinkwatch is not that accurate as yahoo search. Go to yahoo.com and type "link:yoursite.com". It's the most accurate way to check website's backlink's.

 

I was tried with your suggestions, Both site explorer and backlinkwatch are given the same no of results with the same back links URL...??

Have you ever compared and checks the two results.....

Google: TO check "link:www.yoursitename.com"
Yahoo: TO Check "site:www.yoursitename.com"
MSN: TO Check "link:www.yoursitename.com"

 

A good tool to check your backlinks is called SEO For Firefox. It is a firefox addon that gives you many useful information for your website.

As for your own site, use the link data from your google webmaster account.

As for other sites, use yahoo explorer. Then you get the backlinks either to one URL or the entire site.

Don't rely on the google search "link:http://www.example.com" . It shows only a (ridiculous) small part of actual backlinks

I am using backlinkswatch but it is not updated on regular basis and i am trying to search for something that will given me the results that google counts. Any suggestion?

You can also use backlinkhunter.com and wholinks2me.com (or it could be wholinkstome.com I forgot)
