You don't see the problem with using another companies trademark???

    Are you serious???

What is has to do, is they own the rights to coca cola term, you don't!!

Would you like my cousin Anthony to steal your car?? Or Vinnie can move into your house if he feels like it??........

    ;)

Yes any use of the trademark, without license is a violation of trademark law.

Unless the company does not actively use the trademark then it is possible to obtain it but I am not sure how to do so legally, but its not the case with Coke anyway....as we can see they actively protect what's theirs.

You could write them and ask or their Attorneys may soon be in touch to demand you turn it over.

    I just sold Kindlebookstore.com to Amazon,....for what I paid for it lol....they made me an offer I couldn't refuse....

Well first they wrote me and told me to stop using kindle in my ppc campaign ads or face closure of my Amazon Associate account.

Then they wrote me an demanded the URL for the price I paid or face my Amazon Associate account being closed, and legal action...

Needless to say their team of lawyers beats my lawyer so I took the intelligent route and sold out for $10.00

I can always say I sold a domain to Amazon......

    And I wouln't be lying lol..... :D

Contact your registrar and tell them to cancel the domain. It's not worth the hassle of owning.

And if you are serious about having used CocaColaStory.com as a hosting company domain and now you want to sell it to CocaCola, well that is one of the stupidest things I've ever read.

    Like DUH!!!

Didn't we go over this a while back in another thread when you wanted a site review or something? I'm surprised Coke has not taken action themselves already.

You're going to get banned no matter where you go. In fact, I'd be willing to be the reason you were removed was because Coke probably sent a DMCA to ThePlanet asking them to remove you.

I cannot believe you do not see anything wrong with what you are doing, especially since it is so unbelievably obvious. Come on! This is ridiculous. If I were a mod here I would have banned you permanently just for wasting our time with something so unbelievably asinine.

This post has to be a JOKE right???

Hey before you get all cocky, I requested the DMCA or complaint from theplanet.com but they said they didnt have it. Whats going on there? Tickets take like 1 hour to the max for response . Usually it only takes 15 mins for a response.

The domain has been up and running for a good half year.

I wonder if CocaCola would be intersted in buying out the domain.

    Cocky?

Buddy you are knowingly and blatantly infringing on a mark that is just as well known as Jesus, Elvis and the Beatles.

You claim otherwise, then wonder if they'd buy it? Be lucky they don't sue your arse off!

Are you not familiar with the product, Coca Cola?

Do not try to use another well known trademark as your domain name.

Why do you keep trying to have something to do with Coca Cola? Capitalizing the 2nd "C" does not make a difference.
