What do you mean affiliate marketing tracking solutions ? I use Nifty Stats that software tracking my affiliate stats, it's free tool.
You may buy a script to tracking with your own affiliate manager software, or just join an affiliate network to use their service to help you tracking your affiliates. Please check my sig for an affiliate network.

You could use a freeware tool called click counter you don't have to buy a license as the link makes no difference and appears only in the admin section. Basically you enter your link and name of the link and it gives you a new link to put in its place, from then on it will track every click. Just make sure to back it up from time to time (takes 5 seconds)
You get what you pay for and I don't think pro affiliates would trust free scripts. Try iDevAffiliate, it's very reasonable and trusted.
I would agree. We only accept paid affiliate software submissions on our site which are reviewed. Just incase of interest to you, here the software reviews are. The reason I don't accept free software is because normally this is the more places where affiliate scams happen. I've seen to many site owners grab a free affiliate script just to set up and affiliate program for quickness and realistically they are not to bothered with it and sometimes will just forget about it and it's affiliates. Paid affiliate software is far better. This is the same with CPA networks, seen some offering free scripts and I definitely do not accept them networks into the site. Good luck.
