I think, if you change the template of the site will look much better.

 

Nice website but i do prefer light backgrounds when reading.

The whole dark thing can strain your eyes sometime.

 

Every WordPress blog uses that theme .

 

Yes the dark background makes uncomfortable to read the content and also the font colour white is very contrasting makes more strain to eye.

 

Very slow to load, template is ok (could be improved)

 

Fairly slow to load here as well and a little dark on the eyes

The color’s too dark for me. But great site though.
