Hello all, Since starting my site a month ago, I have been using this forum as a university in all things internet. I have learnt lots and learning more every day. As payback I have been outsourcing as much as possible to members here. Got a super banner made by one of the members and I am already back to him getting more. My site is www.LiveOnlineTranslation.com and so far we are of course way down in the list for searches. I have some good links, submitted an article to Ezinearticles (awaiting approval), directory submissions done some banner advertising and doing a few things gradually with a view to being on the 1st page in 4-6 months. Doing some PPC with adwords which is moderately successful but plan to slow that down as organic searches increase. As my service involves 24/7 staffing by interpreters I need to control the flow of visitors so that there is enough of them but not too many at any one time so as to keep them happy. Dont do link exchanges. They will get you banned from Google. Is there a russian version of the site? How do you access it?
I have no intention of doing anything with the spam poster))) I don't have a Russian version as yet as our prime market is Western customers needing translations either from or to Russian. Will add one if the demand is out there.
Cool that is fine... I was just worried you miht have been doing a redirect based on IP address (which would have been bad). I would advise slowly getting links to your site. You can buy them, or accumulate them naturally by doing something very interesting on your site. See "link bait" Then of course there are web directories and press releases.
