Why YAHOO Answers Can not be used?

I got deactivated last week.

I had spent over a year answering questions and had never had any problems.

One day some guy decides to target me and reports 5 of my answers within 1 minute.

I didn't check my yahoo account for a while, I log in and all my answers have been removed and my whole account deactivated just because some low-life decided to target me.

 

If your account has been suspended you will see that information when you try to log in - it will say - "Oops - your account has been suspended. If you feel that there has been mistake reply to us at ..."

 

this problem is not new many of ppl get banned when they spam when they copy the answers and cheat... but yahoo answers are great...

 

Could you give an overview of what is happening to you? Is it because you cannot access your account or is it because your links or posts are gone?

If you post the same answer all the time, they will ban you.

 

Definitely got banned. I get my account banned as well from Yahoo Answer. And i do not use it anymore.

 

I think if you supply wrong content then that would be why you would be blocked

 

The guy who started this thread has also been banned from DP.

 

Sometimes you can get easily banned by Yahoo Answers.. I used to promote indirectly through YA, and got banned as well.

 

YA is a great way for newbies to promote...its quick and easy, but you will get banned and then have to set up another acct. It gets old really fast. But if you just want to drive a few hits to your site...then go ahead and post to it. But, remember try to build up a reputation....network with other YA users. trade links on their...you post thiers, they post yours in their answers...self promotion will get you banned.

 

The last question I posted on yahoo answers got a reply of "You are funny" lol

May you are talking about the time they had some maintenance.. they doesn't usualy do but they do sometime may be that is why you can't use that.

 

most of the yahoo answer will not be upto mark, so u need to find very few quality ans.

 

But i dint found that prob on my system. It my be on your yahoo account.

 

What do you mean? can you explain the situation?

 

Check your answer maybe you've been considered as spamming or post a mis leading answer.

 

You're going to have to be a little more specific. It can be many reasons why you're unable to use it. You could be banned, your reached the daily limits, or any other reasons.

 

I think your IP address got banned!!!!!!!!

 

Mine account was banned 1 year ago. I have tried a lot of times to resolve it without any result. So, your account is BANNED FOREVER

 

The recent spamming has lead to yahoo community to take some serious measures to reduce spamming. It's really tough to promote your site there now.
