We have had a site built called www.portraitpaintinggallery.com It is an ecommerce site that offers customers hand painted oil portraits from photos.

Any photo can be converted into an oil portrait on canvas.

A customer pays a 25% deposit and emails a photo, you then send it to the artists and they paint the portrait and then email you for the clients approval. You get the full payment, pay the artist and they then pack and post the painting direct to the customer.

The new owner will get all the details of the artists the unique content and as much help as required.

It is easy to use and also has a full affiliate program software installed so that you can recruit a team of affiliates to promote your site.

The site uses wordpress as a back end making it super easy to update and edit.

It is a unique design and all the content is unique and was written with SEO in mind specifically for this site.

We are selling it as we have a number of other sites and I have just taken on a consultancy job which is going to take up a lot of my time.

We have been adding back-links and there are a number of web 2.0 sites already setup with back links to the main site.

Rather than leave it sitting there we have decided to sell it. It has a lot of potential and has top page position on google for "portrait painting gallery"

Any questions just shoot me an email

Stats and all other figures available.

    Thanks

    Lloyd Hester

It is a new site that I had designed on the wordpress framework. I tend to get them up and then get them right normally.

I have just had headspace 2 installed to sort out the meta and keyword meta issues.

I must admit I had not checked for w3c errors. The site was setup for me and is work in progress, I am not technical and have my guys in the philippines check this stuff out. I have not run any checks on the site yet but all content is unique.

I just dont have the time to spend on the site which is why it is up for sale.

I am happy to have these issues resolved before the sale completes. :)

It has taken just over 4,000 $us. Sales from the UK and Australia.

Although, these sales were from email blast, blog posts on unusual gift ideas site and posts on facebook and twitter. There are a few videos on about 40 sites uploaded via traffic geyser and articles posting.

No pay per click all organic traffic

I have now connected this post up to google analytics so you can see for yourselves the info.

    Thanks for your interest.

I have checked a number of websites and not found one that passes w3c validation checks.

The number one google result for "SEO services" and "on-page optimisation" has 104 ERRORS!!!! So maybe I am not doing that bad after all?

The w3c validation is a bunch of overhyped crap not worth worrying about anyway. I'm way more interested in real world results from the site than technical "errors" that most would never notice anyway. If it ranks well in Google for its terms, then the SEO is good...nothing else really matters.

I'd like to know if you have some sort of arrangement made with the artists that states the new owner must use their services, as my gf is already an established portrait artist and I would be using her for this exclusively. I just wouldn't want anyones feeling to get hurt or any job losses, should I take over this site.

Where the artists fit into the future of the site should be clarified for potential buyers. Thanks.
