Contact your branch manager and ask him to provide complete details of the transactions done from your card, then you may get that code. - Digital -
I have a punjab national bank debit card with a mastercard logo. Paypal made the following transactions in my passbook (bank statement). 27-10-2009----To POSP/00000001/330729/Card##----------46.41 27-10-2009----To POSP/00000001/382367/Card##----------90.50 After making a million calls to the customer care and going to the branch office so many times, I am frustrated. They open up the transaction details of these transactions, and I get the same details. Tried a lot of things. I told them that 'POS' in POSP stands for Point of Sale. I want the details of what products I have bought. They said - we have no record of such data, ask the particular Point of Sale. (What a disappointment!) I even tried by asking for 'Offshore transaction details', yet nothing. I told them if it were a CC and not a DC, I would get a monthly statement, but I dont get that for DC. I want those details. He said we provide those details for only Credit Card holders. Your bank passbook is your statement. We don't provide any other statement. Even talked about Paypal, Expuse code, etc... they were like... what? I even called 1800 180 2345 (Credit card cell) and asked them for POS transaction details. They said we provide these details only for Credit card, not a debit card. I have $0.00 withdrawal limit and have money stuck in my paypal account. Cant even send it because my sending limit is just $36.54. Can anyone suggest me what to do? I'm in a real fix. The only solution I see to uplifting my limit is making a new account in SBI and getting a Yuva card and get the expuse code from paypal.statebank.org.in Himanshu
PayPal only accepts the latest Mastercard logo Debit cards issued by PNB. But thats also not gonna help as you won't be able to get the Expuse. - Digital -
Better try with SBI yuva card, and keep in touch with 'vivekgodgift'(DP member) he will help you for your EXPUSE code. Only with SBI cards not with PNB Cards. Here his personal website
do not use any debit card from india, never worked..even if it was worked for first level, you do not get expouser code.try to use with credit card/vcc of any bank.it's my personal experience with both debit+credit card
Did you try with yuva debit card before?, If you dont know just leave it Also verfieing paypal with VCC is ILLEGAL . Unless that VCC created from your bank account.
everybody is correct we all are fucked up...even i also charged for 500 to add pnb card in to paypal account bt no benefit so forget it n abt ur money too...
no body is going to help us.it works till first step....n after that it cant be i tried many times....
paypal doesnt charge u 500, its just $2.95 = around 130 INR the only solution to this problem is get a credit card otherwise I guess $500 per month limit is not bad either
wow1 ur quite lucky i tried bank of india international mastercard debit card.but it dint worked for me
Pnb can be quite a frustation,if it would have been Hdfc or anyother bank,we would have got the expuse code in no time.
It can be done with any Debit card which has 3-digit CVV no... It works with Syndicate Banks cards also..
I had used PNB, but, in the end, I found out that SBI is the best in India. They offer "SBI Yuva Card" with the VISA logo to ppl in 18-30 yrs age group. You need to have minimum balance of Rs 500/- to apply for the card. This card is accepted by PayPal and the expuse code for PP verification is provided by a DP member, who happens to be an employee of SBI.
Just read the whole thread, mate.. PNB card adds successfully to PayPal, but, you do bot get the expuse number, so, you can't complete the 2nd step of verification..
