He clearly says MODS did that , and not the members,
Waiting for his proof for the claim he is giving!

I dont even know the username of the person who did it. What i saw was in my user's profile under 'Latest Reputation' there was negative rep of 4 points which dropped me from 10 to 6 and the comment was 'Next time post in the right forum'.

Users can decrease reputation points by 1. If it's not a mod, what is it then?

Thanks Nitendo for the green rep. But im still back to square one.

Users can decrease 5 points of others, not 1 point.

    It can be anyone.
It is ur wish, take it as MOD or a member, i would say, MODS very rarely give a red rep in my knowledge.

I always get Green from a MOD.

I came to the conclusion that it was a mod who did this because i believe it was the same person who moved the thread from Adsense to General Marketing. Im sure a user cannot moved threads to other forums hence my statement. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Having said this, do you believe i should go down by 4 points for entering a thread in the wrong forum by mistake?

As I said, a user could have seen it, given you a red for it then used the report the thread link

A Mod could have been online and moved it within seconds

So if a MOD moves a thread, he gives a red rep?

A MOD moves a minimum of 100 threads per day.
Then by repping all those thread owners red, they would lose 100 points per day.

My threads are by mistake placed in wrong section and then MOD moves it but they dont red rep me for this.

Okay my assumption was wrong. It wasnt a mod but a user.

How many of you believe it is fair for a user to decrease the rep by 4 for just posting in a wrong forum?

No one cares whether it is fair or not, they just Red if they dont like it.

RED rep is not for thinking about what is fair or not.
It is just for teaching u about your mistakes, and u dont like people teaching u something for your mistakes.

Mods never give Reds for starting a thread in the wrongs section mate. :) Please understand this if you have lost 4 points then the Red is not given by the Moderator as Mods have a repping power of 10.
Now make few quality and helpful posts you will be back to the Green gang mate. :D

Cheers :) You are back to the Green Club mate. :D

If you put it this way, that red rep is not for thinking what is fair or not, then this thread has come to its end because i was fighting for fairness.

Only admins can by default has rep power of 10. You can select to have a power of 10, or use the same seting every one else uses.

Exactly, I think he mistook my point. The maximum repping power is 10 I believe. Most Mods have lots of posts and rep themselves so they are at that limit.

I didn't mean they got a rep power of 10 just because they are Mods

I would like to thank RamaKrishna, Nitendo and SubmitShop for their generous +ve rep and their trust in me. Like Nitendo highlighted, talking about rep is the way to get more red rep and i've learned that now. Also from sizzler_chetan point of view, green rep is not about being right or not but about what other users think of you and if i've fallen from the guy who decreased my rep by 4, it doesnt mean everybody else thinks the same.
