Write about topics you actually enjoy rather than chasing after insurance & other high paying niches ! everyone makes this mistake at first
Ok. First, don't even think about quiting.(and stop crying!) Many people quit when success is just around the corner. There is a very good analogy to what I just said. A machine or an instrument can work, run, perform etc for a very long time at its rated safety margin. It takes a small imbalance/disturbance/overload for the machine to fail. The same is true but in the opposite sense...you can be working every known way to achieve your target income but it may not be working and the suddenly one day you find that ONE thing that works for you and works like a charm! 7 months although I must admit is a bit too slow for not making any progress, but at the same time, it may simply be time to go back to the drawing board and rework your niche/theme. Like many of the members have already mentioned here, you may be targeting the wrong keywords. I suggest to go and drill down your theme. You would be surprised at what weird themes you can drill down to and still be connected to your main theme. This is time to do a step down or a Staircase AdSense Approach. The ONLY reason why you feel that all the ebooks/software/manuals/CD/DVDs and other IM BS is meant for you is because IT REALLY IS. I am not a big fan of BING dot com, but I certainly agree with the TV commercials that show "what has search overload done to us". It is true. People have made simple tasks into such a web of ugly spiders that anyone would get so overwhelmed with the information...tasks like "how to write a good classified ad" have ebooks written on it. I agree it is important but it surely does not require a book to explain the concepts...a good, strong headline, benefits(not features!) and call to action...that's it, end of story. Same with many other guides...they make a new concept/technique etc out of literally nothing(new name etc) and everyone just gets on the bandwagon. Did you notice my Adsense Staircase Technique...I just made up the name (although the technique is very powerful and I use it in all the time, it does not have a name)I bet many would have asked "what is this staircase technique?"...bullocks. Don't keep on buying stuff. Did you actually read/apply all that you bought? If yes, good. If not, do it now. Another thing many folks do ( I used to do it myself) is keep accumulating stuff. All it does is gets you confused. If you have read the stuff, learn and delete (unless it is something that requires frequent reference) You will see a substantial improvement by just doing this one thing. At the very least it won't remind you of the fact that you bought so much stuff and still could not do anything. Take care mate and don't give up.
because i am so new in internet marketing so i am frusted at the moment.. anyway thanks for your useful tips..
7 month? Personally I am more than 7 years in online business... and I'm still learning something every day.
that's just awesome post, helped me a lot, thanks, really... i came to realize some things i haven't seen before, thanks... some posts should have been carved in stone...
My advice would be to write one article per day. Make it a really good article. Also, if you're not an insurance professional - stop right now and start looking at something else to do with your online ventures. Jumping into topics that historically pay well is only going to be a waste of your time since you will have to educate yourself to a high level, to the point where you sound like you know what you're talking about. I've done it before, and have wasted my time in doing so. Things work out much better when you write about something you really know about. That's why I take as much as I can from every office job I get. I just create a mini-site about the industry and Adsense it. I use all of the pamphlets and knowledge of working there and put it to good use.
i am hire some one write for me .. so it become i had earn nothing and some times it will become negative since my english grammmar is not that good..
That's right. You only have 5 contents indexed on google (columbustravelinsurance.org) Try to create more contents, and spread your links on social bookmarking, blog commenting, forums, ezine, etc Try also make some more websites/blogs with adsense.
Hmm problem is if start a blog only you will be able to post init. So it'll be less interactive for other people. And to earn money u will have to find an make useful posts everyday. Now if u can create a popu;lar forum an put some work into initially getting a lot of memebers an promoting it afterwards u can just sit back an relax while the Forum sustains itself. All the while making u money with adsense.
If you have spent countless hours and 7 months of ur life with this, just quit and do something else, or find another niche
yeah, with adsense you will get to cry a lot, but keep persisting, and 7 months is not a time period for success, i had to cry for 2 years before getting some decent earnings from adsense so persist with your efforts
don't give up - I've made $2k+ consistently over past several months with minimal maintenance effort and adsense is my smallest payer. just stick with it and try out new things. something will click.
That is ok, you are not alone in experiencing that thing. Just have more focus in increasing traffic, meaning increase in traffic is equal to increase of probability of adsense clicks.
No offense but your site sucks. The articles you have on there look like they were written by an 11 year old kid. After you write some proper articles, throw them onto Ezine, HubPages, Digg, etc. 2nd thing, learn how to promote your site! In 7 months you've accomplished nothing, try making quality articles that people would forward onto their friends. Try creating a facebook group, open a twitter account, etc! You have a lot to learn! Ask yourself this question... Would you enjoy reading the stuff on your site?
