For a demo they have written on their website that ratinsearch.com is an example. but when you go on ratingsearch , nothing is written on their website that it is connected in any way with proclones. Also there are no forums, and live chat to help you out.Also they are using oole checkout in place of paypal. should i go ahead and buy this script? help me decide.
No, they are not a scam, they are a legitimate company. But I must admit, their script IS kinda pricey :-/ You could probably get a team of developers to make you that same script for like $1000 or less.
If they are providing demo then they would be giving you admin panel demo too on same domain so just check it out.
im gonna agree with you. maybe shop around, if you dont need it right this minute, see if a dev team can make it for cheaper. if they are gonna skim $100 off the price but take a few weeks to make it, then maybe go for the pre-made clone.
$1200 for THAT? I'm going to re-consider my price $99 for similar (upcoming) script (mine also has YouTube and Twitter APIs integration)
Why don't you spend that amount on a custom one for yourself with a few unique features, then sell it a few times to others wanting one then you'll have your money back and a script of your own.

Well I also need a yelp clone script and So does 5 other people. Is there a PHP guy who's willing to make this script and sell it 5-10 people here at a decent rate? under $200.. It's script not a website we are talking about. I'm interested so who wants to code?
Any chance that your price will be coming down anytime soon? I realize it's an bold request but I would need a lot of customizing to get that script the way I want it. For that price plus the custom work, it would make sense to use Joomla and it components (JReview and Jomsocial). Nice script though. Best one I've seen yet.

I have been so busy with my day job and then working on client's websites and other sites I run in the evening that it is easier to refer people to an already live site at the moment than to constantly update two sites every few days. I have posted admin area screenshots on our ProClones.com page under "Review Website Script" and then "Screenshots". - Why do we accept Western Union? We accept Western Union for the simple fact that we get the funds the same day and also because certain parts of the world may not have access to credit/debit cards and have the ability to purchase our script. Why would we accept Google Checkout if we were not legit? - The price was immediatley lowered to $800 shortly after our site went live, but there are discount coupons floating around the internet. Nothing wrong with using WU for transactions. A lot of people out of the country (US) don't use paypal and use WU as it is easily accessible to them
Don't forget the outsourcing option. Through outsourcing, you can set a price you're comfortable paying and request custom features unique to your needs.
