Best search engines?

I knew there was going to be so many replies with other people promoting their search engines which fail. Anyways, I think there's only three major search engines : Google, Yahoo, Bing

Google is easily the best, but if you're looking for others I would have to say here is my small list:

- Yahoo!
- Bing
- Ask
- Dogpile
- ChaCha

 

I usually go with google and bing. They are very straight forward, like most search engines, but i just like them since I've used them for so many years.

Hello friend , i have tried many search engines,some of them were even paying to search the content but none is even equal to the Google.Google is undoubtedly THE BEST.

 

why you need so many? The major 3 are google, bing, yahoo. actually bing and yahoo will make friends to compete with google.

Its to be expected. I admit google is awesome so is yahoo (and bing), and I you asked for the best search engine and I think my search engine is the best. There are more than top engines you know and some are which better. I will have you know that my search engine has grown astonishly within the last week.

altsearchengines.com has links to thousands of search engines, most of them small but if you want to try something new you'll find it.

 

watch out for entireweb.com....they are planning an assault on the big 3.

duckduckgo has an innovative presentation of the results. They present some of the different meanings of the search term so you can refine the search further.

google my choice

 

Google is really the best if you count all factors in and include everything in the evaluation. Some people don't really need or want everything though and for those there might be another search engine that does one thing better than Google.

If that one thing is what's important to you an alternative search engine might be your choice.

You can find a big list of search engine alternatives in my sig, and I have filtered out the useless ones
