Which color looks best?

    Hello everybody!

I just wanted to know what you guys thought looks best on my site. The color scheme for the square ad below "subscription tools", or the vertical wide ad below "categories"? Which one do you think is better? Should I make all of my ads the same color schemes?

    Thanks in advance

The first color scheme is better even though both look almost exactly the same, but it's your decision and it's your site. There's too many advertisement blocks. It's kind of annoying. :X

In my opinion, you should just leave the square ad and get rid of the link unit. The ads will blend in more smoothly and your site will look more professional.

What do you mean? I have 3 ad placements, and 2 link lists..is it too much?? Thanks for your input. :)

I always use the blue color for my text ads as most people would recognize it as something they can click on. But that will depend on the color theme of your site.

Ive tried changing my colour of my text ads as the CTR is appauling however it hasnt made any difference apart from the first day when i changed the colour

Though my problem is probably down to something else, but ive wondered myself is something simple like changing the colour would increase the CTR

    Under 1%..... How shocking!

I liked the green one. The categories part. I think the color is cool.

Have you looked into color marketing before? Might be worth researching. As far as certain colors psychologically affect people into certain actions or feelings.

Other than that, nothing beats green/blue

many of my sites use that scheme and are successfull. Great color marketing color scheme.

Actually I love it the way it is. I think you've done a stellar job integrating the ads with the content. I predict you will do well with this design!
