How to change favicon?

Hi guys,

Please guide me to change the favicon of ver. 3.8.4 I tried to upload a new one. It's been uploaded too. But still not showing. Any cache problems.? But I don't know how to do that.

place this in the header with your own favicon link.

the favicon will not change if you are changing it with your hosting panel. But via ftp it is easy to do..

 

Just upload the favicon.ico file to the root folder of your forum and it should show the favicon automatically.

 

How to change favicon.

• Create a favicon with dimsensions 16x16 or 32x32 and upload it to your forum root.
• Clear your browser's cache/cookies and the new one will load
• If still not loading add <link REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="http://www.example.com/favicon.ico"> in the head tags of your web page.

 

Another way would be over write the favicon.ico with ur own

 

upload favicon.ico to your forum root
in head includes put :

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" />
