Paypal Question: Funds getting transfered to a bank account.

    Hey guys,

Okay I'm trying to transfer funds from Paypal to my account.

I've entered the account information they requested and supplied them with the two amounts they put into my account.

I have a confirmed my bank account with them.

My question is, it's been roughly 7 days and the money still hasn't transferred to my bank account.

    I'm not verified. I don't have a credit card.

How long does it take for paypal to transfer the money?
Do I need to be verified?

You have to be verified after verification it usually takes 48 hours to be transfered,

    Damn!

Okay like I said I don't have a credit card. So, is there any other option. I do have a debit card linked to that account.

Depends where you live, login to your paypal account and click on Withdraw you'll see information about the processing time:
3-4 Business Days in the US
5-7 Business Days in the rest of the world

Nope, I'm not verified and in my case the transfer usually takes 5 days.

Are you couting 7 days with the weekend? The money will probably be available tomorrow (monday).

Whew. Okay I live in Canada.

I entered those two amounts on Sunday night (a week ago). So I guess I still need to wait.

If anyone has any more info please tell me. Thanks to everyone so far.

I have paypal associated with my bank account (no visa card) and I'm not verified, but I can withdraw money. So my guess is that you're wrong :)

The imtcard you mentioned on the other thread might be useful for some people.

Myself, about 3 business days (note, business days, not consecutive days) from day I put in for withdrawal of funds to when they are in my bank.

If you have verified a bank account with paypal, then you are able to withdraw money from your paypal account to your bank.

But as always, go to paypal and ask them....

I didn't have a credit card, but I called them up and they sent me a form to my home address which basically made my account verified. This was in the UK, not sure if this is the case elsewhere.

i dont think you need a credit card all you need is a bank account to be verified.. you may need to contact PayPal admin to see what is going on..

Create a paypal account associated with your bank account and you will see that you won't get verified unless you add a credit card, or call them up like DarrenC said.

    Haha,

Okay I just reviewed something here. When I verify my bank account do I need to withdraw X amount of cash and then it goes to my bank account?

I just assumed everything would plop into the account.

Oh my goodness. Heh see this is what happens when you are a teenager and don't do a huge amount of banking ;).

I feel like such an idiot. Thanks everyone, I just withdrew the cash so It'll be here soon. It's been deducted from the total so everything looks good.

    Gosh I feel stupid.
