How much does Google take per click?

Does anyone have any idea of the % that Google takes??
And why is that such a big secret???

 

I think its not more than 50%

 

they don't release that information so other companies can't claim to pay more than them.

google gets more then that from advertisers.. they are just paying use a fraction of what they make but i dont know what the percentages are ..

 

I read somewhere that google kept 60% and paid out 40%. Doesn't seem that I get that much though.

I'm not fussed. As long as I know what I'm getting.

I suspect that it's probably quite low, percentage wise, but still a fortune added up.

 

Well, overall they take around 20% out of the whole adsense program.
