I saw a lot of Guru is teaching just putting up something simple and you need to drive traffic to your site without concentrating on your contents, do you think this can work? Any comments?
if you have a product that people are hungry for...then you don't need to oversell them...but overall you will need good content
Ehh.. not the best way to go. Try to create unique content and create a valuable resource - those are your best bets.
This is unreliable method to earn money and it won't bring you serious money. I've experienced this method and it didn't help to make me the profit I really aim for.
i think it has work. But there is one more option which is help in internet marketing. This option is facebook fan pages. facebook is the one of the larges web site in the world it has 300 million + active users so this number make your site in promotion so try it
Frankly speaking,that may work but in the long run I don't think it will. The best option is to do your research well,offer people a much needed product/service and they will virtually crash your bandwidth to be at your website.

Yeah that does not sounds good. I think it is much better to have even one 300 word article of content is better than not caring about your content. My advise is to not listen to so called "Gurus"
agreed with the all the guys - Google loves content and use this all ethically have lot of ethical and unique content. All the best. This is the only successmantra.
Yeah, that is just a short-term solution. On the other hand, this is a strategy that could work relatively well especially if you have the intention to do short-term site flips within a month or less. It'd work as long as your profit 'horizon' expectations are realistic - something like this you could definitely not hope to profit from in a year's time! Paul
Regardless of of it works or not, it certainly won't work to kick start your website with some real traffic. You need the traffic first. Don't believe every guru tip you read. Some of those "Guru's" got the traffic a long time ago, and are now just cashing in by giving paid for advice to sell a product or service.
It's really tough to make money on the internet because you have to remember it is the WWW - World Wide Wed - emphazising on "WorldWide", I say this because whatever you think you might be able to make money doing someone like in "India" who is willing to work for .50 cents an hour, that's right I said .50 cents a hour that's half a dollar, is going to copy your efforts and sell it for pennies on the dollar which you will never be able to compete with, these guys from India live on the Internet searching for opportunities, now I understand why countries have tariffs, if this was allowed to happen in the real world economy the world would be in ruins and there would be no market anywhere, make sure that your business focus on a local service or product, because if your business is purely digital the first copy you sell to anyone in india you just shot yourself in the foot because within 6-months your market will be ruined or duplicated.
