Only downfall to that is that sometimes these listings can take preference over the listings that you actually want. With a site that I run, I struggled for some time to overcome a listing telling my users how much the site was worth, instead of seeing a direct link. Worth being careful with this one, as tempting as this may sound. Best way to get indexed is solid SEO. Use rich keywords, develop content, then submit your sitemaps, URL's, and do all that in a short time frame. You will get listed quick. Not quite in 10 mins, but it will be quick, and they will be valuable listings to you.

Even Faster.. Spam your site for 2-3 answer with your links on Yahoo answer, you'll get indexed pretty fast, else go for propeller or digg as well.
I put my site in Yahoo answers and they kicked me off within a couple of hours even though the site helped the person asking the question. You could try social bookmarking your new site in websites like digg, propeller, etc. I have heard that gets your new websites indexed sooner. You may also want to search for a video by Matt Cutts that answers the question, 'how to get new websites indexed fast'.
yahoo answers wont get your site bookmarked fast, i answered answers and left my link there several times and for weeks the only thing that came up when i typed my website was yahoo answers build backlinks to high pr sites, i noticed my site was indexed when i checked it the first day of building backlinks
