I have never been to any African country in my life but believe me... I will definitely do it some day. I either want to visit Egypt or Morocco. I think I'm going to see Egypt first because of its culture.
no never. but i am surely fascinated by the pyramids and the mumys. their glimpses on discovery channel make really want to visit that place badly. hope i will some day .

Went there a couple of years ago to Sharm el Sheikh, loved the weather but did not feel safe just wondering about, but would go again.
I went there about 5 years ago, stayed in Cairo for 3 days and then went on a cruise with a tour group down the Nile, stopping at all the major attractions. Sharm el-Sheikh - I hated that place. It was like a flea market run by really pushy sales people. A few of the shop owners tried to drag my wife into the back room of their stores while their helpers tried to keep me distracted. My biggest beef with Egypt is the pushy sales-type attitude you get as soon as they realize you are a tourist (which takes like 1 second when they see the white skin and baseball cap). You get off a tour bus and you instantly get swarmed by an army of peddlers and people selling junk, it's really bad at the Pyramids of Giza...there must have been 100+ people flocking to our group as soon as we got off the bus. Outside Cairo it wasn't as bad, but it's still really annoying. My favorite place was the Valley of the Kings...it was amazing. Second favorite place would be Karnak.
