Blogspot blog in #1?

I started off in the 1st position in Google for my main keyword. A month later I'm stuck in the 15th position.

I update my blog almost everyday. Should I slow down or make a static page?

When I was in the 1st position I had just put the site up and the keyword wasn't saturated at all. Now the keyword is pretty big and it knocked me back a few spots in the SERPs. How do I get back to the 1st position?

I update often, there's no broken links or images [beside the ones from blogspot which SEO tools are saying is broken] and I use the keywords in all of my posts. How good is using the keywords in post titles and posts for SEO? I bold, italicize, etc. the keyword and use it a few times in each post. Should I cut back?

    Any help is appreciated.

First thing I would do is get off blogspot and get your own keyword rich domain name and set it up on your own host.
Next, I would research the main keywords and get about another 20 or so that are related and has low competition, Then write posts using those keyword phrases.

Backlinks - You still need to get them. That is probably why your competition has passed you up now.

    Hope this helps.

All the good domains with the keyword have been taken. The keywords are in the blogspot domain though.

I do this and I'm still stuck where I'm at.

I don't think so. I have the most backlinks and they are of quality. It's relevant and a lot of them have PR.

Thank you for your suggestions though. I'll probably just double up on everything.

It's been like this for a month. =[

Should I keep bolding my keywords or should I just use them and keep them normal?

Just repeat what you did before. If you've made it before then you can do it again to reach to number 1 spot.

I did it when I first put the site up and I had no competitors. This is what I mentioned in my initial post and the reason why I need help.

First Q: A:: Continue updating your blog almost everyday. Google loves fresh content added regularly and it should also be relevant and meaningful and of possible interest to searchers.

Second Q: A:: May be you overused the keywords and google start to think about keyword stuffing? Probably thats why>?

You can't over stuff the keywords in your post, this will be regarded as spamm by google, what you can do is write more good quality post as before, wait is the other thing you can do now!

Yah, I thought keyword stuffing was a factour. I've slowed down on it and now I'm just going to be using it in titles. I've already seen a change in Google.

you got ranked at the beginning due to freshness factor. that initial ranking is not the true ranking ans usually never lasts long. what you have now is the right ranking and this is where you need to start. just keep adding content on your site and keep building backlinks and you should be climbing back up over time

    Exactly.

How difficult is it for a blogger.com domain to rank number one, time wise?
