What More Can I Do To Optimize My Site?

When I first started about a month ago with SEO, only 4% of my site's visits were from google, and now the figure is 38%.

I've submitted to DIGG, google maps, and all the directories I could find.

 

Try posting on Craigslist, Backpage, and Oodle. That may help.

 

Create the pages (with keywords) in Hubpages and squidoo.

 

Aldso try ezines and goarticles for backlinks

 

Make sure you keep getting backlinks for the keyword thats bringing in the traffic.

 

well first i want to say that your site is very nice, & i heard that ibp promoter is good if you want to get traffic from search engines.

 

You might also consider some social media sites. Many posts here on DP recommend doing this, I have had a little success in doing so. Consider joining a group and starting a fan page etc.

i have my site from june i payed at google adwords i have 10000 of back links got pr 2 i am on the first pages on google but i still do not have traffic on my site i do not know what to do ... can anyone help me givving me ideeas?i am new in this bussiness. Thanks a lot

 

You need to do some "more" on-page optimization if you did do some.
You're also missing your meta data.
If you are trying to target that one keyword, you used it 1 time on your home page and not together, but as a phrase.

To gain more traffic, social media, ppc, do 1 press release, make sure you submitted to rep directories. Add geo-target meta tags to have a better chance for local searches....and so on

 

The more backlink the better the Craigslist suggestion is a very good idea as you could target the site for your area,you have a nice site and in time it will go higher in the search engines.

try to post on gather.co, surely you will get high traffics..

 

I mis-spoke, sorry, I didn't look down far enough. Even though your <title> meta desc and meta keywords should be at the very top.

I have a question for you, why do you have both?
