    Why has this happened?

Compared to October 2008, I've doubled the number of impressions, while the number of clicks have halved, as my income, as well. Why?

Note: My ads are optimized very well. Please help me!

    Nick.

It could be that your website got picked up somewhere where the traffic wasn't loyal or a niche audience. Thus, giving low quality traffic opposed to high quality targeted traffic.

e.g. being picked up on digg, fark, a forum or messageboard where the person is there for one reason only, to check something out, then leave and not brows around or explore.

just a thought, it is common.

    Thanks for answer!

However, it's very strange, because my traffic has doubled! Also, I'm writing every day articles of 400-600 words, and I'm very careful in the quality of each contents.

This is generally due to poor traffic quality, I.e not niche related traffic!

For example someone could have posted your site on a social bookmarking site so more traffic comes but the quality of traffic is poor so they dont click your adverts!

    Hope this helps :D

I disagree with the people above have written.

The main thing to be checked upon should be your CPM. Has it dropped?
