How to remove all *.html files from google search

    I just want to remove all files from google search . because this file is no longer be available on server. but google still consider it in search so because of that page ranks down alot . how can i remove all html files with a single command thanks.

    Block it via robots.txt and login to google webmaster tools and submit a request to remove pages from the site.

    Once logged in goto Site Configuration >> Crawler Access >> Remove URL tab.

    well i know with robot.txt but problem is that i want to remove and as you mentioned go to google page remover tool yes i knew it but problem is that i cant give each html file at each time i have to remove all .html there is thousand or millions html file.

    since those pages are not available anymore..there is no content to crawl and index.. google bot will automatically disregard it on its next crawling.. keep on link building, it helps bots to notify the update you made..

    use 'removal tool' in Google webmaster tools, its the simplest way to do it, as far as page is returning 404 error:)
