I've started an online petition to bring back Commander in Chief - please take a minute to help out a fellow DP community member and sign the petition whether you like the show or not. The site is a work in progress that is being built on the fly and being supported by several other DP and other forum members and a collaboration of several webmasters so not everything is fully squared away yet, but the petition is functional - please help out. A little background ... During a conversation with Chris (mystikmedia) recently we were discussing television shows and such. Ironically neither of us watch too much network TV but I mentioned that I do like a few network shows and one that stood out to me last season was Commander in Chief. I was floored when he told me that it had been cancelled. It was dominating Tuesday night ratings, was nominated for 10 Golden Globes and had a stellar cast! The problem as I see it, was that ABC decided they'd take a hit show, and move it to Thursday nights to attempt to compete with CBS; the show dropped in ratings and rather than admit their error and move it back, ABC killed the show. So anyway, I thought we could throw a little egg in the faces of ABC who would cancel a decent show and replace it with more crap and reality television - hope you'll help out. Thanks!

Yep, two shows I loved, Point Pleasant and Dark Angel both were cancelled out of the blue, Dark Angel didn't even end properly. I don't watch much TV either.
I HATE when they do that, one show I started watching a few years ago 'Brimstone' they just up and pulled the plug, never ended it at all. That SUCKED! I hate when they do that, it's like just do one show to end it, that's all I ask. Why don't they ask for my permission first?

Beyond that, it was a quality show and a wonderful show I loved showing my young daughters - there are so few positive role model characters on TV today!

Thanks for the help chabbs! I'm glad you liked the show, but I'm not being bashful either and I'm asking people to sign as a show of support whether they've seen it, like it or not ...
