i was fooling around with a site today; seeing how a 728x90 leaderboard would look and when i refreshed the page, i got a strange looking ad unit. the search bar is covering a portion of it because i was having some css layering issues. when i went to go re-examine my ad code, i saw that i had left excess code attatched like this. <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script> Code (markup): i guess my real question is, is there a way to force that format? i've seen it used on myspace before and i would like to test it's success.
I guess this happens when there's an error in copying-pasting the adsense code or some javascript code is missing.
wow, how did you get the ad to appear in your post? i imagine that is generating a lot of clicks for you.
What browser were yoiu using? I have seen some strange oddities once or twice in the Konqueror browser in Linux that looked similar to yours above.
Sites with huge traffic get many goodies from Google and customizing the ads to larger extents is one of them.
lol it's just an image pointing to the image host url. heh, i wish, you need millions of impressions to qualify for that. i'm on pace to do about ~750,000 this month. it's firefox.
i can have that kinda ad too, just leave the last part of the ad their, it gets mixed up with the site sometimes
