(Hello mods. Firstly, I want to say that I don't know where to put this thread. So I put here, the most general section...)

So well, today I changed my website from my old Dedicated to a new and really stronger one!

And, of course, I changed my DNS, to point to new dedicated...

It already updated, I think, because I went to a cyber just 15 mins today, and I went to my website...and it's already on the new server...

But well, when I try to connect from my home, and from office, it still loading the old server...
But, in home, when I'm using the Google Chrome Anonymous Mode, it open the new server

    What is that?
What I need do to 'everyone go to the new server'? I need it because my old server will close in 3 days, and I don't want my returning visitors going to a non-working page...

    Thanks Everyone!!

It takes time for the DNS to fully update. It may hit on some boxes at different times. I had this problem just the other night. My one box was showing my old DNS server, and my laptop was showing the new one... It just takes a bit :) No worries, it should be done in just a few :)

Apparently you home Internet provider's DNS server has not updated with the new record. Just be patient it will happen.

You can usually check your new site by using its direct ip address and your domains username, before the site has propagated to your new server. I usually make a slight modification to the new sites location such as adding the word new in the footer on the index page so you can monitor the dns update and know what site you are viewing. Sometimes the site will flip back and forth between the two servers for a couple of days. So its good to leave both locations up and runnning for a week so that you dont lose any traffic and revenue.

it takes a long time bro, 24 to 48 hours.

changing the IP of the A record in your old server to point to the new server would help. also changing the IP address in the A record of the nameservers in the old server to point to those of the new servers would help too
