why DP PR down too 4

    It is a sad news for DP but still it is a place of web addicts, online marketers, bloggers etc.

    I think I saw dp at pr6 not too long ago, then it dropped suddenly to pr4 within the last couple of months. Not sure why or if I have that exactly right. It does seem like google still likes dp though. Posts and threads still seemed to get indexed in google fast. Alexa rank seems to be holding pretty steady though.

    Because there are to many nofollow links through out the site. People fail to realize that links from within your own site also pass page rank as well. This site always had good pr when it did'nt have nofollow links plastered all over it. But that is the price you pay when you jump on the nofollow banwagon.

    I have a PR4 with 100 uniques a day and no members... i would happily trade a -PR4 status for the amount users DP gets on a daily basis, PR is just like BIG Boobs.. its all about bragging rights, PR doesn't mean all that much in terms of traffic/users/success..

    The problem must be with the NoFollow links around. DP will get back its PR6 if it enables DoFollow.
    There has been no Traffic decrease as Alexa's rank is quite stable.
