    I think avatars do "get into" our head overtime and thats I do consider it worthwhile as part of forum advertising.

    My avatar is something resembles to what i am doing ... and my profession..... :)
    I have seen many using real pictures ,but it is not cent percent it is their own picture.... It is safe to be keeping ourself unidentified in online... but i expose myself throughout the internet with my same id...:)
