As much as I dislike the daily mail, this had to be posted...shocking stuff.

An immigrant convicted of the horrific killing of a 17-month-old baby has been given £4,500 by the Government as a 'bribe' to leave the country.

Malaysian Agnes Wong, 29, was jailed for five years in 2008 for the brutal manslaughter of a toddler she was supposed to be child-minding.

She was let out of prison in July this year, and two weeks ago was put on a plane at Heathrow and sent to Malaysia with a 'voucher' worth £4,500 to spend when she got there.

Wong was jailed after a court heard how she had swung the boy, Hugo Wang, by his ankles and smashed his head. He died of brain injuries.

More proof that our immigration policy is out of control. Gordon Brown can't get a dead soldiers name right, and now this. What I want to know is, who on earth made such a scheme and approved it?

I read the article and it looks like Britain is setting it self up with the wrong message to the foreigners.

£100 a night in detention costs as well as administrative and court costs.'

All in all the British tax payer is actually saving money in the long run by letting this criminal go back home, but why not have a deal with their countries where countries make an arrangement to house it's country men/women in prison if they have committed crimes outside of their countries, I do understand that prison in Britain is much more humane than that of Malaysian prison system, but that is not the problem of the British government, it is up to the individual to think about before committing such a crime that would lead them in an unforgiven situation.

They should have deported her and have the Malaysian Government throw her in jail and have her spend her time back home, even if the British Government having to pick up the tab to have her housed in prison, that would have been justice serve.

I do understand how the British is trying to be "civil" about this whole thing by giving her enough funds to start a new life in a country where she originated, but she has not serve her time, she was actually awarded for the crime she committed..

    ...What-da-*uck! where you thinking.

Well, what do you expect? the UK is currently being run by totalitarian morons - who I wouldn't trust with anything (after seeing them in action).

Labour in 1997 said "things can only get better", well they didn't, they fucked everything up and made Britain worse.

What's worse we will have more of the same under David Cameron, when he is in office shortly.

What can i say about this one then in the US they execute them but in the UK we let them go shopping

    Murderer absconds on shopping trip

Detectives are hunting a convicted murderer who absconded while out on an escorted shopping trip.

Patricia Gillette, 41, escaped at around 3pm on Friday while visiting shops in West Wickham High Street, near Bromley, south east London.

Gillette, of Streatham, south London, was being held at the nearby Bethlem Royal Hospital.

In 2007 she was convicted at the Old Bailey of murdering Mark Murphy, 38, at his home in Streatham in August 2006 and detained indefinitely under a hospital order.

Detective Sergeant Gary Gornell, of Bromley CID, said: "This individual is dangerous and we need to apprehend her as soon as possible. If anyone sees her, please don't approach her, but call police immediately."

Gillette is described as black, between 5ft 3in and 5ft 8in, of large build, with moles under both eyes, a scar on the left side of her neck and another scar on her left ear. She wears her hair in a small ponytail on top of her head.

When last seen she was wearing a red hooded coat, a blue denim shirt, black jogging bottoms and black shoes.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said officers had been advised that Gillette is overweight, weighing approximately 25 stone, and is 5ft 5in.

She is also said to have friends in the Streatham and Lambeth areas of south London.

Some democracy we live in eh? We can live under Gordon Brown and you will have murderers getting pay checks, bankers running free with crazy bonuses and stupid wars. Or live under David Cameron who panders to racist far right groups in Europe, will cut public spending, cut taxes for big cooperations and do more of the same of what we had with Brown...

No wonder people are voting BNP...
