Hi all,

SoccerFriend.com - premium soccer name ( I was offered just for the domain $1000 before I have developed it).

Site used to have more than a 100 photo galleries on soccer theme, mostly photos of sexy soccer fans, players girlfriends, etc. In total there were more than 3,700 photos. It was the largest soccer fans "soft adult" site on the internet. All the photos are categorized by country and soccer player(if there gallery of his girlfriend). Like

Brazilian Fans (151 photos)
English Fans (80 photos)
Argentinian Soccer Fans (70 photos)
Ronaldo's Girlfriend
Totti Girlfriend
and so on more than a 100 galleries

The site got 180 members registered in 1 month of the world cup. NO ADVERTISING EXCEPT LINK in the signature
It had more than a 1000 pages indexed with Google.

The users used to spent 30-40 minutes on the site, there were a lot of SQL queries and my host could not handle amount of traffic I got and CPU usage.
I think at that point I needed dedicated server for site like that.

Anyway my host shot the site down and it was like that becouse I have worked about 70 a week for my day job.

Eventually I have decided to put the site up. I changed the idea of the site, and decided to make it a forum, BUT forum that can still can have all those galleries that are smoothly integrated in the forum.

Forum also has an
1) ARCADE script integrated that lets users to play games within the forum
2) Lottery script - you can run a lottery for your users, where winner gets some kind prize (site's t-shirt for example)
3) Point System script - everything your users do counts, they read the thread they get points, they post they get even more points, etc

In General It took me about 100 hours to collect and categorize all the photos and (make sure that there are no watermarks of other sites, photos are all clean and you can easily apply your own watermark so when some one will post photos on other forums or sites they would be doing free advertising for you)

How does one get 3700 photos when there's only one photo in the gallery?

 

It is super empty becouse I did not put the photo galleries yet.. I am going to do that in couple of days (unless someone will buy it before)

There are 8 people signed up on 100% empty forum since August 6 (when I put it live). I think this means something. I did not fake users there, they are not my friends or relatives. One is mine another is of my programmer, the rest are real people.

When I will put galleries and make them available only after certain amount of posts it will become as live and active as major soccer forums. When the next big soccer event will come it will explode with activity.

I really like the idea of the forum and I know I can monetize very well in one year and I also know it will hit jack pot by the time the next Euro Cup will start and it will become golden mine during the following World Cup.

I need cash very bad that is the only reason I am selling it.

I think the potential of this site worth the price I am asking for it. May be I am wrong, but in that case I will never sell this site.

 

I will send you the zip with all the photos or I will hire someone to upload them there using best SEO keywords and photo descriptions for cheap.

try google images for soccerfriend you will see there are still some images are indexed even the site was down for almost a month..

I really have 3,700 images may be even 4,000 I have not count. I did not upload them becouse I was too busy.

You can get some info about sites traffic from Alexa.. I know it is not exact and no webmaster should make decisions based on Alexa rankings, but at least it can give an idea how the site was doing during the year

soccerfriend what you originally put in your thread is wrong and a lie so if you edit it to be correct rather than say what will be there in the future ad then also put a minimum bid to reflect what is there which is a fairly empty site then you may get some bids.

if there are a number of posts you need to register and make a certain number of posts to be able to see them then perhapse you could provide us with a test username ad password

What's the legal status of those photos? Using Google Images as you've stated returns photos that were most likely taken from professional streams such as Yahoo & co.

Regarding the legal status of photos: I took photos from the biggest soccer forums, of course from different ones, I did not take any photo from Yahoo.
You will not find any soccer related site without photos like that.


The cost of labor I have invested in backlinks (it is PR4), development, coding and promoting it is worth about 5,000-6000 (may be for you it will take less time and money but for me making this site was worth that). I put starting bid as $5,000 just becouse it is about the money I have put in it. The one who buys it does not have to do all this. Plus cost of the domain.

Everybody has a right to have an opinion, if you think the site does not worth the money asked I respect that. May be you right, but I really believe that this site's potential is worth of the money I am asking for it. I know that ... and do not want to let go for cheap that is just not fair to me. If I can not sell it for money I am asking for it I will keep it and be absolutely happy, knowing that I has not made a bad deal selling site for cheap.

it was not a forum before, I had a thousand+ visitors a day before the site went down

the fact that it was seen by more than 35,000 people before worth something.. a lot of them are returning

by the way I got 7 people signed in one day since I have installed galleries, I am still coding it... pretty soon I will make people to post before seeing the photos and it will grow like crazy.
