This has to be the way forward for advertisers and for Google.

Advertisers pay for each sale from an advert, rather than each click as is the case right now. Now, NOT signing up for this will be absolutely crazy because it could be a no-risk strategy for the advertiser. This will present problems for Google in that every man, his dog and his hamster will be queueing up for accounts. They simply can't lose.

So what could Google do to limit this?

    - CPA + a monthly fee?
    - Large Sign up fees?
    - Minimum %ages?

    What about cancelled orders?

How do you think Google could control advertiser quality and maintain both their income and ROI for advertisers?

Probably a minimum fee per month for who do not has enough traffic

Yes, Probably will have a it to take away low profile advertises.

Reverse the commission - no sale = no commission - there is a time frame (normally 30 days) before publishers can put their hands on the money.

Based on public statistics: EPC ($ Earn per 100 clicks) if you do not pay commissions for who are promoting you - its ok but no one will pick you in the future - the publisher can choose to promote who has an average EPC = $100 or who has a EPC = $5

this would make the world better! we wouldn't have to worry about wasting money.... but then optimizing keywords etc in adwords may become a lost art...

I think this is definitely the way to go for google, and their advertisers in order to stop the large scale of click fraud. I think this would be beneficial to honest publishers who deliver quality traffic as they should be able to make much more money this way.

Then, CPC would still live or CPA is going to kill it?

Who knows? Maybe advertisers will get a choice, but I know which scheme I'd buy into!

That will definatly hurt some people running campaigns for affiliate programs on google.

But from an advertiser perspective it's a big step forward...
