Dont worry too much about it. Do whatever you can to protect your site. Ban one with the most clicks/abnormally high number of click. Don't forget to remove the ban after awhile.
Contact google and explain you were threatened. Google will probably remove the invalid clicks for you...if they believe you. Good luck.
they know if it is you or not, telling them about it will help though, they can softblock those ips from accumulating any revenue or charging the advertisers for the clicks. They do this against known proxies.
Save your account and remove the google ad codes right now from your site. If you do not do this now you risk losing your account with google .......simply remove the codes for now.
mugzy is correct. Totally agreed. Temporary safety measure is to remove your ADSENSE ADS from your website while waiting for Google staff to contact you.
I think you should down your website for few days, due to you will be loss few $, but few loss of money is better then big loss. Down your website and display page with text like "Website for Maintance".
When are you going to wake up the customer service at google STINKS. It will take forever to get a reply back till then I would have another advertiser lined up because google doesn't care about the fractions of a percent of its customers clickbomb true/most false situations.
Google doesn't care that much about it. Seems strange though since it is probably 90% of their business that is produced by Adsense/Adwords yet they pay no attention to it and continue to create apps that don't make any profit. It will come around to bite them in the rear-end sooner or later. Whatever goes up MUST come down. Especially if you ignore your best clients. That would be the ones that MAKE you money...
today also i have been click bombed 20 ads were clickd for 7 imps (in one ad channel) i have removed all the ads and informed to google via the "invalid clicks form" i thought of following CIMA as my adsense income increased recently...but seems life is gona be more difficult ..am about to be banned this should be some one who can't face me directly face to face.. anyways thanks for the instructions and help my friends
I don't think removing them was the answer. Google knows the IP and blocked it, so why lose income. You contacted Google about it, so you need to wait for G to contact you.
if you use a stats monitor on your site like awstats and see which ip is constanly bombarding then send details to Google they should beable to do something
just to distract the clicker.....if the ads were there for the whole time the clicker will come and click every day but if they began to appear and disappear then he won't like that very much.. anyway i will be putting them back in 4-5 days.. i will reply to this thread saying what happened google has said "Please note that we may not respond to your message unless we find a significant issue with your account." so if they won't reply that means i'm ok right?
Log in to your control panel and check for the logs, if you find too many visits from the same ip, ban that ip first from visiting your site and secondly report that ip to adsense along with whatever other details that you have about that ip BTW just to distract your clickbomber, i have done this once, i keep always keep a copy of my site without ads and another copy with ads, when i had this kind of situation, i kept uploading sites every hour alternating between sites with ads and without ads, did it for 2 days and the bomber got bombed, he didn't know what to do, as he could find sometime ads, sometimes not, imagine what might have gone through his mind, some guys might even reinstall their browser thinking something went wrong with it -ultimately he left me alone after 2 days
My best advice is that you should remove the adsense for a while...and put on those sites, and try not to disclose that you are the ower of the site. So take it off is a good option until google give u reply. good luck
