I like selling ebooks. But the amount of requests for review copies is crazy. My suggestion is to be able to set the requirements for a review copy, amount of review copies. There should be a button that says "Request a review copy". And if all the review copies are given out, it should be disabled. And if someone asks for a review in the thread, they should get a infraction. Just a sugestion
Seems reasonable to me but I am not the coder. We currently issue infractions when members ask for reviews when none or offered or when members do not meet the criteria stated.
They already aren't allowed to ask in the thread. If the OP states that review copies are available, people must PM them for them -- no "whoever posts first" stuff (that's covered by the bumping, "im interested" rules). If they don't offer review copies and someone PMs them about it, they can report it as spam because they're unsolicited.
Thats why I write in my threads that I am not giving any Review copy and infractions will be issued if anyone asks for it. - Digital -
