you cant really do much about google doing there job the right way and getting the recognition it deserve.
MSN's SERP's are flakier than G's. Y!'s SERP's are much improved since their last update. I like Accoona.com too.
that is fact.google every time updates with new rules, it never give any info how it updates and all.no 1 can explain why some saites do well and finally many sites do backhat and maintain
Google is the best... Yes it would be nice if there was a few more search engines that stepped it up, and got someone close to the size google is, but I doubt that will happen.
I do not know how long Google ads and adwards can be last.... but if yahoo and MSN have their own Y-PR, M-PR and open Y-ads M-ads cash for all webmasters....... may be every thing will be changed ...... About the Topic : Boycott Google? I did find some several big websites they do put disallow googlebot at their root robots.txt.... Is that a way Boycott Google????? or they do not expect any search from google??? or any other purpose???
Maybe Boycott was the wrong word when I started this thread. My point is that I just don't like the idea that one engine dominates the market. It doesn't mean I'm doing poorly in google by any means. The point is that Google has everyone's eggs in one basket. If they ever shake you down, you're screwed. I'm just saying it would be nice to see some of these other engines gain a bigger part of the market, as to show some healthy competition. Users and Webmasters would both benefit. Monopolies aren't good for the consumer.
Yeah, that makes perfect business sense - let's banish Google, loose 83% of our traffic and in the produce sell our homes, go live on the streets. In all seriousness, I don't see a problem with one search engine dominating the industry - Usually the people who are saying 'lets boycott Google' are the ones who aren't performing in Google and are frustrated.
Good point... but it also has to do with consistency. The hamburger you buy from McDonald's today is the same as the one you bought two years ago... on another coast... same with Starbuck's, it will taste the same anywhere. This brings consumers who are not particularly enthralled with the company in just because they know what to expect. They might not visit McD at home, but they know what they will get in a strange city... Right now, this is something Google is missing, consistency. A repeated search on a keyphrase may not bring up the same type of serps day to day, week to week, even if not the same sites. When the consumer runs into spam, they will head for another engine, and if they find the results more to their satisfaction, they will stay with it, at least for awhile. Google pulled a Schlitz, went New Coke, and flipped a bit all in one over the last year. Google's market share is bound to fall...
THey are okay...but all they want from members is to upgrade to this, join that, and so forth. As a pure search engine, it would be a good alternative to google...as a member, it is odd that they always send out emails wanting money.
Google is comprised of best workers in the world, so they deserve to be the top. Yahoo are just a bunch of lazy people with bad behaviour--in other words, they never do anything to their fullest. They let their bad search engine stay for years without significant improvement, let alone take a look at the aged domain registration service.
