Plan and simple in some niche you are not going to be making any decent money no matter what your traffic levels. I'd say take what you learned from your current site and find another niche (that pays better) that interests you and develop another website.
It was not easy 3 years into adsensing many mistakes, wrong selection of niche, wrong databses, wrong scripts, failures, tears, i have seen everything, even dumped adsense for 2 months, but then i had to go back to something which i liked doing and that was webmastering, which i could not resist With experience of 3 years behind me, it was not difficult to lay down a plan and follow that, then just kept persisting Selection of niche and getting rankings are the two most important things, not forgetting the content (which is valuable), rest all falls in place and money starts coming in

bollywood and funny jokes, pics, videos websites are least paying they only give you 0.01, 0.02 maximum 0.05 cent evn i have bollywood and funny jokes website with pr1 and same problem is with me....no earning.... thats our mistake to make this kind of website switch to high paying niche...
THe amount of money that you make from adsense depends on ur site's niche...from my experience, adsense is the best, most reliable and shows relevant ads.
just because adsense plays low on a niche doesn't that niche can't make money. if you get 3,000 UV a day and only using adsense your missing out on money. sign up with 2 or 3 cpm networks,put them in a chain and along with adsense you could turn the $2 a day into $20 a day.
That's true too but that mainly depends on ur niche too...a lot of these programs are for specific niches only...porn, entertainment etc..... But in general I think adsense is the best. I tried Bidvertiser before and it was useless...mainly because it showed random ads...best thing about adsense is that it shows relevant ads and if you have a high paying niche and decent traffic, u can make quite some money.
Go and find a Job or go and apply to work at Mac Donald or Kentuckey Fried Chicken and work as a CREW. Might be able to earn you $40 per day.
As far as we know the OP might already have another job...he/she is just trying to find another way to make some extra money.
If you have a mirror in your house go get in front of it... when you do that you'll see the real problem. Well you'll see at least 99.9% of the problem. Google made 21 Billion last year. Hmmm.... seriously whenever you feel the need to ... go find the mirror.
Video sites don't have a very good CTR really, the best you can do is try to position it as close to the content as possible so people may be able to see ads.
